I finally replaced my 12 year old water heater, the old one worked fine
Swapped out my 1998 model last month after my plumber neighbor kept nagging me. New one cost $1,150 installed. Old one never failed once. But the new one heats faster and my electric bill dropped $22. Was that worth it? Now I'm wondering if I should just wait for things to break or replace them early. Anyone else regret upgrading something that wasn't broken?
