Appreciation post: The AI tool that actually helped me sketch better
I'll be honest, I was super against AI art for a long time. I thought it was just cheating and stealing from real artists. But last month I tried out this one AI sketching helper that takes your rough scribbles and suggests cleaner lines. I'm not a great drawer, my hands are shaky, and I've always struggled to get my ideas on paper. This tool let me draw a messy circle and have it clean up into something I could actually use. It didn't make the art for me, it just helped me finish what I started. Now I use it to plan out my painting compositions before I touch real canvas. Has anyone else found an AI tool that made them better at their craft instead of replacing it?

Honestly, I was in that same boat of being against it for a while. Tbh, hearing about tools that just clean up your rough stuff makes a lot more sense to me than the full AI generators.

Same here, that's exactly where I landed on it too.

Oh, hold on, those "clean up" tools still use AI under the hood (just not the flashy kind).
