Burned $85 on an AI art course that was just prompt lists
I figured taking a paid course would finally make my AI images look less samey. The instructor promised secrets to get real depth and style. Turned out the whole thing was just a bunch of prompts I could have found on Reddit for free. I spent 6 hours following along and my output looked like everyone else's dreamy landscapes and portraits. The only new trick was using negative prompts to avoid extra fingers, which I already knew. I asked the guy for a refund and he pointed to a no-return policy in the signup fine print. Has anyone else gotten burned by paid AI art tutorials that just recycle public knowledge?
