My 200th AI image finally made me see the tool differently
I kept hearing everyone say AI art lacks soul, and I mostly agreed until I spent 6 weeks training a custom model on my own watercolor sketches from Portland. The trick was feeding it my failed pieces, not just the good ones, and suddenly the output had my sloppy brush habits baked in. It still isn't me, but it's closer to a sketchbook echo than a random Pinterest grab. Has anyone else tried building a model from their own rejects, or am I just fooling myself?
