Tried to get an AI to make a logo for my shop and got a 6 fingered wrench
Last summer I spent about 3 hours feeding prompts into one of those free AI art sites, trying to get a simple logo of a wrench and a gear for my shop in Akron. The first 40 tries were junk, weird shapes, letters that spelled nothing, and one that had a wrench with what I counted as 6 fingers. My kid looked at it and said dad that is cursed, and honestly he was right. What got me was how confident the thing seemed, like it knew exactly what a wrench was, right up until you zoomed in. I ended up paying a local artist $80 to draw it by hand instead, took her two days and it actually looks like a wrench. Makes me wonder if the AI stuff just needs better eyes, because it clearly has the speed part down. Has anyone here ever gotten a usable logo or drawing out of one of these tools without having to fix half of it yourself?
