DAE hit 1,000 AI-generated help tickets at work and finally get why people are freaked out?
I work the support desk at a mid-size insurance company in Columbus, and last Thursday our system logged ticket number 1,000 that was written by a bot instead of a person. That was just in 3 months. What got me is that 300 of those were people arguing with the bot in circles, then a human had to step in anyway. I sat there thinking, this is what the whole debate is about, not robots taking over, just quiet piles of junk piling up while nobody owns it. My boss says it saves money on staffing, but we hired 2 more people just to clean up after it. Has anyone here seen a number like that at their job, and did it make you feel any different about how fast we're rolling this stuff out?
