Spent a Saturday with my niece and an AI chatbot wrote her get well card and now I feel weird
My niece was sick in bed last Saturday so I handed her my phone to play with and she found this AI app that wrote a way better get well card for her friend than she could, and she sent it without telling the friend. She felt bad after, like she cheated on a test, and asked me if that counts as lying. Where do you draw the line on that kind of stuff with kids?
she felt bad like she cheated on a test" is such a good way to put it, and honestly the fact that she felt that way probably means she already knows the answer. If I let a bot write all my cards I'd have no friends left, so maybe the line is just whether the person on the other end would care that a robot said it.
