Showerthought: I let AI write my shift handoff notes for 2 weeks and my boss asked if I was taking a class
I work nights at a warehouse in Toledo and my handoff notes were always messy, half asleep scribbles nobody could read. So I started feeding my own bullet points into a free AI tool and letting it clean them up before I sent them. After 2 weeks my supervisor pulled me aside and asked where I learned to write so clear, and honestly I just typed 5 words and hit enter. Now I am wondering if the writing part of my job was ever the hard part, or if it was just the part I hated. Anyone else find AI made them look better at something they were never actually good at?
