TIL a study from the University of Chicago found AI is already doing about 20% of the tasks in jobs that were considered 'safe' from automation.
I read that on a tech news site yesterday and it really made me think about how even the jobs we think are secure are changing from the inside out, not just disappearing, so what kind of training should we even be looking for now?

Yeah, that's the real shift. Learning to work with the tools is basically the new job training.

It's crazy how that stuff just sneaks in... I saw a demo of an AI helping with patient charts and it was doing a lot of the basic note-taking. Makes you wonder if we should all just be learning how to work with these tools instead of fighting them.
