My first solo install changed how I plan every job now
I did a full panel swap at a small bank branch in Dayton last Tuesday and the fire alarm tie-in took twice as long as I figured. Turns out the old panel had a DPDT relay wired backwards that wasn't in any of the paperwork. I now spend at least 20 minutes walking the whole site and checking every relay before I even pull the first screw. Anyone else get burned by outdated documentation on retrofits?
