Rant: went with wireless contacts on that 3 story house in Naperville and I regret it
Client wanted no holes in the trim on a 1920s place with plaster walls, so it was wireless sensors or fish new cable through 3 floors. I picked wireless to save my back and because the quote came in $800 cheaper. Two months later I'm back out there replacing batteries in 14 windows and one contact keeps dropping every time the microwave kicks on. Should have just ate the labor and hardwired the whole thing. Any of you got a go-to when a homeowner says they don't want any drilling?
