Warning: don't wire the keypad bus and zone loop on the same pair, had a service call in Phoenix today
Customer's panel kept false alarming every 40 minutes and the previous guy had both sharing one 4-conductor cable, which works until a zone shorts and pulls the keypad data line down with it, so has anyone else seen this cascade failure or do you always run separate homeruns?
