Drove 200 miles for a UFO meetup that was just a guy selling crystals
Paid $40 for a weekend event near Roswell billed as a 'close encounter conference' and it ended up being one dude with a projector and a table of overpriced quartz. He claimed his 'energy readings' identified a crash site, but the GPS coordinates he gave were for a closed Dairy Queen. Anyone else get burned by these supposed alien seminars, or is it just me dodging scammy stuff like this?
