My brother laughed at me for keeping a notebook of every light I saw in the sky over Flagstaff
He kept saying I was wasting my time writing down dates and directions for 8 months until we both watched a triangle of lights hover silent over the Watterson and he went dead quiet. Now he wants to borrow the notebook. Does anyone else keep a dumb little log like this?
Let him read it but stand next to him while he does so he can't pocket it or lose it. Also start writing down the time and weather for each sighting if you aren't already, because that's the stuff that turns "weird lights" into a real record later.
