My trail cam in Sedona caught 47 clips of nothing, then something walked through at 3am on Oct 12
Set up a cheap trail cam behind my place near Sedona back in August. Wanted to catch the coyotes everyone hears at night. Got 47 clips of grass moving and one very fat raccoon. Then on Oct 12 at 3:04am I got a clip of something tall and thin walking left to right. No face, no clear legs, just a dark shape that looked way too smooth to be a person in a coat. It covered maybe 30 feet in 4 seconds, which is faster than any deer or hiker I've seen on that trail. I've watched the clip maybe 200 times and I still can't tell what it is. Anyone here know a free tool to clean up low light footage without wrecking the motion blur?
Check if your cam has a firmware update, cause older ones sometimes stretch bodies weird in low light and turn a normal walk into that smooth fast blur. Honestly a 30 foot gap in 4 seconds is like 5 mph, which is just a fast jog, so the speed might not be the strange part at all.
