Saw a light do a right angle over Lake Erie 3 years ago and I still check that spot
Three years ago in August I was sitting on the pier at Presque Isle in Erie, PA around 11pm when a single white light came in low from the north. It had no blinking strobes, no red or green, just a steady glow, and it moved slower than any plane I know. Then it turned 90 degrees to the east in about a second, no wide arc, just a corner. I watched it for maybe 20 more seconds until it faded out past the point, and my brother-in-law saw the same thing and said nothing for the rest of the ride home. I know people see satellites and drones all the time, but satellites don't corner like that. Has anyone else seen a light turn hard like that, and did you ever figure out what it was?
