Warning: bought a $180 leak detector last spring and it saved a $4k floor job
Ngl I put off buying one for so long because $180 felt like a lot for a little puck you stick under a sink. Then in April a customer's supply line started weeping under a dishwasher in a condo off Riverside, and the thing caught it about 10 hours before it would've soaked through to the unit below. I charged her $145 for the install and she tipped me $50 because her neighbor had just paid close to $4k in water damage two months before. So it paid for itself on one call, but I still get weird looks when I quote it to people. Any of you actually stocking these on the truck, or do you just sell them to bigger commercial accounts?
