Changed my mind about stump grinding after hitting 500 stumps

For years I told clients I'd just leave stumps and let them rot. Thought grinding was a waste of money and time. Then I hit my 500th stump removal last month and actually tracked the numbers. Those stumps I left in a job from 2021 caused three flat tires on my mower and a customer complaint. Now I grind everything under 18 inches on site. Anyone else track how much stumps cost you in the long run?
