Hot take: I stopped cleaning my saw chain between tanks and the chain ran cooler on a 90 degree day in Fresno
Sounds backwards but a buddy who climbs for the city said the packed sawdust was trapping heat on the bar, and after two tanks with a quick scrape the chain felt cooler to the touch. Anyone else notice this or am I making it up?
