Hit 500 consecutive Duolingo days, then my streak froze

I mean, I got to 500 days last Tuesday, which was the exact number I'd been aiming for since March. But when I opened the app that morning to log in, it just showed a spinning circle and then reset my streak to 498. I tried closing it, restarting my phone, even messing with the time zone, but nothing brought it back. Has anyone else had a streak counter glitch out right at a milestone, and did support actually fix it or did you just give up?

Man, I USED to think streaks were pointless, but now I get it. That sucks!
