Six comeback jobs landed in one week at my shop in Toledo and I still think it was a fluke
Usually I get maybe one redo a month, but that week I fixed a sagging door on a Civic, three bumper blends, and a fender gap a guy's kid cousin messed up with a rattle can. Does anyone else see comeback waves like this or is it just me getting sloppy on the first pass?
Six in one week is nuts. A fender gap fixed with a rattle can by somebody's kid cousin alone would put most shops in therapy for a month. But all of it stacked together? A sagging door, three blends, and that mess. Something in the air in Toledo that week. My wild guess is a bad batch of paint or primer went around, because comebacks don't usually travel in packs like that unless the materials are off. If your first passes were fine before and after, it wasn't you getting sloppy.
