Spent 6 hours on a brake job that should've taken 2, felt like a champ anyway
Last Thursday I got a 2012 Civic in for rear pads and rotors. Caliper slide pins were frozen solid. Soaked them in PB Blaster, used my heat gun, still fought me for an hour each side. Finally got them out with an air hammer and a pickle fork. Whole job ran 6 hours with a lunch break. But when the pedal felt firm and the customer said it stops better than new, that made the whole day worth it. Anyone else have a simple job spiral into a marathon and still feel good at the end?
