I tried that trick of pasting my resume into a free AI checker, and it opened my eyes about who reads it first
I saw a video last month saying you should run your resume through a free AI scanner before applying, so I did it with 3 versions of mine and the scores changed by like 40 points each time. I guess the software that sorts applicants before a human sees it just looks for different words than a person does, which is scary if all these hiring systems are already automatic. So are we all just writing for robots now, and does anyone actually know a real person who got hired without gaming the keywords first?
