The self-checkout guy at my Kroger said his store went from 8 cashiers to 2 in a year
I was bagging my stuff last Tuesday and he said the rest got moved to stocking because the machines took over the lanes. Made me wonder how long before the stocking jobs go too, anyone else hearing this at their local stores?
