The guy at the lumber yard in Tacoma told me to stop sealing my deck every year and I am still thinking about it
He said sealing every spring traps moisture and just makes it peel worse, so he told me to sand it back and use an oil-based stain once every 3 or 4 years instead, and now I am wondering if anyone here has actually tried stretching it out that long in a wet climate.
