I thought the lawn dart ban was just parents being dramatic until I read the actual 1988 recall numbers
Three weeks ago I was cleaning out my dad's garage in Buffalo and found a beat up box of lawn darts from the 70s, and I figured the ban was way overblown. Then I looked up the CPSC report and saw over 6,000 injuries logged, including four kids who died from getting hit in the head, and I changed my mind fast. Anyone else got a banned toy they used as a kid and only later learned why it disappeared?
