Paid $400 for clipper sharpening that ruined 2 pairs

Sent my old Masters and a set of Wahl seniors to this sharpening place online. Got them back 3 weeks later. They looked fine but cut like garbage. Tugged and pulled on every head I tried. Took them to a local guy and he said the blades were ground uneven. Too thin on one side. Had to replace both. Anyone else get burned by a mail-in sharpening service? What do you do now, local only?
