The old man who taught me more in one chair than 3 years of videos
Had a retired barber named Lou come in for a trim back in March, nothing special until he watched me do a fade and asked why I was scared of my clipper over the comb. He talked me through how he used to cut blind in the 70s, no mirrors, just feel and fingertip pressure. Got any regulars who casually drop knowledge like that, or am I the only one taking notes from the older dudes?
