Drove 3 hours to a wedding and Instagram killed my post about the setup

I helped my buddy set up his backyard wedding last Saturday in Tacoma. Spent all afternoon getting the string lights and table arrangements just right. Took one photo of the whole thing and posted it that night. Got like 12 likes because I used the wrong hashtags or something. Has anyone else put real work into a post and watched it flop for no good reason?

Wait did you actually look at the hashtags you used or did you just slap whatever came to mind? Because I've had posts totally bomb just because I threw #weddingdecor instead of something like #tacomaweddings or #backyardweddingideas. Sometimes it feels like the algorithm straight up punishes you for being late to a trend.
