PSA: posting at 11pm instead of 7am got my reach cut in half, and I have the numbers
Honestly I thought timing was a myth until I actually tracked it. I ran a dumb test on my woodworking page for 3 weeks, posting at 7am on week one and 11pm on week two, and the late posts averaged 800 views while the morning ones hit 2,100. Same content, same hashtags, same 4,300 followers, so the only thing that changed was the clock. Ngl it stung because I did the late batch after a 9 hour shop day and thought I was being clever. Turns out most of my people are scrolling with coffee, not at midnight. I'm back on mornings now but I still don't fully trust a 3 week sample. Has anyone run a longer timing test and seen the same thing, or did yours flip around after a month?
