Ran Muc-Off tubeless sealant in my shop bike for 5 months in Phoenix and the bead glued itself to the rim
I figured I'd skip the monthly top off and see how long it held. Pulled the tire off to swap tires and the sealant had turned into a solid ring of latex stuck to the bead, took me 20 minutes with a plastic scraper to get it loose. The heat here probably sped it up, but now I'm doing a check at the 8 week mark on every wheel that comes through. What's the longest you all let a tubeless setup sit without popping the bead?
Did you ever leave a half full bottle of that stuff sitting in the garage through a summer? I had one in a milk crate that I forgot about and when I went to use it a few months later it was one big gummy blob rattling around in there. Shook it for like five minutes and it never came back. Phoenix heat is no joke on sealant.
