Hot take: the security guard at my old office tower in Dallas knew more about the company than HR did
He worked the lobby for 11 years and could tell you which floors were quietly getting cut just by watching who stopped coming in for badge swipes, and he called our whole department getting moved out 3 weeks ahead of the announcement, so has anyone else noticed the front desk folks always seem to know first?
