That one Tuesday my whole team got sent home at 10am

Back in 2018 I worked at a logistics firm in Nashville and the power went out for the whole building, not just our floor. They told us to take the day off with pay for once, which never happens, so I got to catch up on laundry and actually cook a real dinner. The weird part was the next day they acted like it never happened and we went right back to the 11 hour grind. Has anyone else had a random free day that felt like a glitch in the matrix?
