My pharmacist of 12 years pulled me aside and said something about my $340 inhaler that I can't shake
We were at the counter at the CVS on Maple and she quietly told me the cash price without insurance was actually lower than my copay. I stood there doing the math and felt stupid for paying $60 more every month for almost two years. She said she can't bring it up unless a customer asks, which I get, but seriously how many people are getting gouged and don't even know it? Now I ask for the cash price on everything before I hand over my card. Has anyone else had a pharmacist give them the real numbers like that?
