My forge scale went from gray dust to black crust in about 3 weeks, and it is the coal
Switched suppliers back in March and my fire pot started clogging every session, so I pulled the clinker out and it was fused into golf ball sized chunks instead of breaking up like it should. Anyone else get a bad load from a bulk buy around Dayton lately, or did I just get the bottom of the pile?
