Pro tip: my old mentor in Akron said "get your anvil at the right height or your back will pay for it" and I finally tested him
I spent my first two years swinging at an anvil that sat about 4 inches too tall for me because I figured a taller one meant less bending, and my lower back ached after every 3 hour session. Last week I finally cut a block down so my knuckles just barely brush the face, and I got through a full set of tongs without that deep ache for the first time in months. What height do you all run at, and did it take anyone else way too long to actually measure it?
