That extra 19th hole at Twin Pines almost killed my round

Went to play a casual tiebreaker on the bonus hole at Twin Pines last Saturday. Sun was low, pin tucked behind the pond, and the club pro said "walk it off, it's just for fun." Took a 7-iron, slipped on the wet tee box, ball skipped off the cart path and nearly took out a maintenance guy's truck. Has anyone else nearly lost a ball or a friendship on a gimmick hole that wasn't even on the scorecard?
