My Monstera snapped at a houseplant swap in Portland, here's what I did
I was carrying a big monstera to a plant swap last Saturday and the main stem just cracked halfway up when I bumped the car door. Panic mode, so I cut the broken part clean with a knife and stuck it in a jar of water with a pothos cutting. It's been 5 days and there's a tiny root nub already, but the mother plant's other leaves are drooping hard. Has anyone else dealt with a snapped stem this way, or should I have trimmed the mother plant back more?
