My laser level died on a job in Phoenix, went back to a chalk line
My rotary laser finally gave out last Tuesday on a retaining wall in north Phoenix. I was mid-course and it just started spinning wonky, throwing my corners off by a quarter inch. I grabbed a chalk line and a 6-foot level from the truck and finished the run, and honestly the wall came out straighter than the laser had been doing. Anyone else keep a backup line kit in the truck for when the fancy stuff goes down?
