Sleeping in my car at a Kansas rest stop saved me $180 and I'd do it again
Booked nothing for a 3 day drive to Colorado and just slept at a rest stop outside Salina, which beat the $60 motel and the $120 I almost paid in Hays. Any of you have a go-to trick for finding safe overnight spots that don't show up on the usual apps?
