My gratitude log actually shifted my perspective this week
Tbh, writing three things daily made a bigger impact than I expected.

Funny how we're all pushed to chase these huge life goals, but the good stuff usually hides in the small, quiet moments we barely notice. Your coffee list and the gratitude log show that pattern perfectly. We get so busy looking ahead that we trip over the simple bits of peace already at our feet. Sticking with it for a week probably made those tiny good things impossible to ignore anymore.

Tried a gratitude log once and mine just turned into a list of different coffee brands. Sticking with it for a whole week is seriously impressive. It always sounds so simple until you actually try to do it every single day. Good on you for making it work and getting something real out of it.

Did your coffee list accidentally show you actually value small daily pleasures more than big abstract things? Sometimes the stuff we write without thinking points to what we really care about. I'm curious if that happened or if it just felt like going through the motions.

Totally get how that happens. My own gratitude log just turned into a running list of snacks for a while. robertw61 is right about the small stuff. You start writing and realize you're just happy about the good cookie you had, or that one green light when you were running late. It feels silly at first, but then you notice those tiny things actually matter. Sticking with it shows you what's already good.
