Rant: I finally counted how many pages I waste on my monthly setup
I sat down last night with my old journals from the past year and actually counted, and it turns out I use about 14 pages every month just on calendars, trackers, and a mood chart. That is 168 pages a year, and my Leuchtturm only has 251, so more than half the book goes to stuff I barely glance at after week one. I read a post on a journaling forum from someone in Portland who said she cut her monthly setup from 12 pages down to 3, and it hit me hard because I never thought to check. I tested it in my August spread and my mood chart fit in six little boxes on the corner of the page. Still tracking the mood, still seeing the week, just not drawing a giant grid I ignore by the 10th. Now I want to know, how many pages does your monthly setup actually take, and have you ever gone back and counted?
