Deleted my brother's number after he skipped my kid's 7th birthday for a golf trip in Scottsdale
My brother has flaked on stuff for a while now, but last Saturday was the last straw. My daughter turned 7, and we had a party at our place in Sacramento with a cake she picked out herself and about 12 people from her class. He swore up and down two weeks before that he would be there, and he even told her he had a surprise for her. The party started at 1pm and by 3 he still was not there, no text, no call, nothing. My mom finally got a hold of him around 4 and he said he was in Scottsdale on a last minute golf trip with his buddies and forgot the date. Forgot. I did not yell at him, I just sent one text saying do not bother coming around anymore. He tried calling me 6 times that night and I let every one go to voicemail. It has been 5 days and honestly the house feels lighter without me waiting around for him to show up. Has anyone else had a family member pull something like this and did it stick, or did you end up letting them back in?
