Those cheap canvas tool rolls finally clicked for me after 10 years of fighting with a metal box
I kept my wrenches in one of those steel cantilever boxes since trade school. Last month I was on a roof in Austin swapping out an AC unit and the whole thing tipped over. Every socket scattered across shingles, I almost lost a 10mm down a vent. My buddy handed me his canvas roll and said try this. Everything stays put, no rattling, and I can grab the whole thing one handed. I spent $18 on a decent one and now I get why old timers use them. Anyone else ditch their rigid box for a soft roll and never look back?
