Swapped my cordless drill for a corded one on site and I'm not looking back
I used to run a 20V Milwaukee on every install, but after 6 months of battery swapping on a big kitchen job near Austin, I got tired of it. Bought a cheap corded 7.5A drill for $89 and it just sits there spinning when I need it. No charging anxiety, no dead pack at 4pm, no hauling 4 batteries around. I know everyone loves cordless, but for stationary work at the bench or in one room, corded is more reliable. Anyone else drop the cordless for a corded tool on certain jobs?

Was the $89 corded drill a big jump down in power from the 20V Milwaukee, or does it keep up fine for what you're doing? I've always wondered if the cheaper corded ones bog down on tougher holes, like in hardwood or when using a big paddle bit. Curious if that price point actually does the job or if you found a hidden gem there.
