Lead tech in Phoenix said never trust the pre-made coax jumpers in the van, and he was dead right
Back in March I grabbed a 6 inch jumper from the bin instead of crimping a fresh one, and the signal on that Mesquite job dropped 8 dB after two days. The customer called back mad, my truck roll got flagged, and I wasted a whole morning re-running it while the lead tech just stood there saying he warned me about the cheap ends. Turns out the connector was loose from bouncing around in the bin for who knows how long. Now I crimp every jumper on site, even the short ones. Any of you keep pre-made jumpers around, or is it fresh crimps only for everybody?
