Realized I was stapling my drop cable runs on the wrong side of the stud for 3 years
Was training a new guy last Tuesday in a 60 unit complex in Fort Worth and he asked why I always staple left of center, and I couldn't give him a real answer. Turns out going right of center keeps the cable off the drywall screws that guys run in later. Anyone else got a habit they caught only because a rookie asked why?
