Bought a $65 headlamp for a trip to Shenandoah and it died on night one
I picked up a rechargeable headlamp for $65 at REI before a 3 night trip to Shenandoah last month, and the battery drained itself sitting in my pack on day one. My $12 backup from a hardware store ran fine the rest of the trip while the fancy one sat dead, so now I am second guessing every rechargeable light I own. Has anyone found a headlamp that actually holds a charge for a whole weekend, or should I just stick with AAs forever?
