My free speech chalk message got erased by a sprinkler system at 6am
Last Tuesday I got up early to chalk a message on the main walkway at UC Davis for a student group I'm in, and I planned the whole thing around this dry forecast. I wrote out 8 words in big letters, took a photo, and left feeling pretty good about my civic duty. Walked back two hours later and a maintenance sprinkler had turned the whole thing into a blue puddle, so I stood there with the empty chalk box in my hand feeling like a fool. Does anyone know the actual watering schedule for those pathways, because I am not getting up at 5am again just to get hosed by a sprinkler.
