Can we talk about the diner in Toledo where I watched a guy get cut off over one sentence
Last month I was at a diner in Toledo and watched a whole table of six go silent after this guy made one dumb joke about his buddy's new job. Ten minutes earlier they were all laughing and splitting a plate of fries. The buddy just put his fork down, said "not cool man," and the whole vibe flipped. Nobody kicked him out or banned him from anything, but the other five never invited him back to their Friday breakfast. That made me think about how much of the big online cancel stuff is really just this, small groups deciding who they still want around. Has anyone else seen a friend group fracture over something small like this?
